Laura Sonedecker, Technical Manager at ChromaScape, oversees all R&D and technical activities related to pigment dispersions and manages our state-of-the-art, R&D lab in Stow, Ohio. In this capacity, Laura directs the efforts of a skilled team, comprised of a chemist and a chemical engineer, ensuring the seamless execution of various projects and initiatives.
One of Laura’s key responsibilities is managing the entire spectrum of new product development in ChromaScape’s pipeline. She guides these projects from conception to fruition. Laura is also involved in customer support, leveraging insights from the Voice of the Customer, to drive new product development. This customer-centric approach is reinforced by rigorous testing protocols aimed at ensuring products meet and exceed customer expectations. Laura plays a role in supporting the sourcing team by conducting rigorous raw material qualifications. In collaboration with the production team, Laura contributes to ChromaScape’s robust Quality Control process.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kent State University and is a Certified Project
Management Professional.
Laura and her husband Ron have been married for a decade and share their lives with her two
children, Alyssa and Sam and their loyal companion a German Shepard named Nala. The family also includes two grown step-children.
Laura enjoys a variety of hobbies including photography, traveling, hiking and cooking. She
and her husband share these passions, exploring and documenting their travels together.
