We are thrilled to introduce Melissa Mantooth as ChromaScape's Colorants Lab Manager. In her new role, Melissa will expertly manage customer technical requests and concerns, ensuring seamless communication and support. She will oversee shade matches, product comparisons and
product qualifications, upholding the highest laboratory standards and protocols. Melissa will also play a vital role in supporting field trials and educating customers through our Color School program. We are excited to have Melissa on board, bringing her expertise and dedication to our team!
Melissa has a wealth of experience in managing customer technical requests and concerns. She
has been responsible for assigning and performing shade matches, product comparisons and product qualifications, while ensuring laboratory standards and proper protocols are maintained. Melissa has supported field trials and educated customers through color schools. She also has a strong background in investigating customer complaints, serving as a Site Quality Manager and conducting ISO audits.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from North Carolina State University.
Melissa is married to her husband Scott and they have two adult sons, Harrison and Logan. Harrison is married to Melissa's amazing daughter-in-law, Tara. Melissa and Scott love traveling, either cruising or camping in their RV with their two dogs, Asuka and Ripley. An avid birder, Melissa enjoys wildlife photography and is a North Carolina Certified Beekeeper with three active hives. She is also a PADI Certified SCUBA Instructor. Her family has a shared love for Japanese Kaiju films, especially Godzilla.
